OUR HISTORY
Started by Barry & Evelyn Myers in 1977, Automotive Super Balance has grown to be one of the Goulburn Valley’s leading Automotive Engineering business’s over the past 40 years. Barry & Evelyn retired in 2002 with sons Shane & Dennis taking over & continuing to run the business to this very day.

The Balancing department handles all types of engine, tailshaft & dushall balan as well as tailshaft manufacturing & spare parts including Universe eit yokes & tailshaft tube sales.
Complete engine rebuilding & performance engines for all makes & moses are also a specialty at Automotive Super Balance. Speedway racing is a passion, with engines built winning over 50 National or State Championships & are rapidly closing in on 150 podiums! With continued sponsorship of over 20 race teams racing in a variety of classes throughout Australia, the results at major events are sure to continue to grow.
Having been involved in Speedway for over 50 years, Barry was the founder & inaugural President of the Goulburn Valley Auto Club with the pinnacle of his racing career being victorious in the 1980 Victorian Sprintcar Championship, the highest category in Speedway racing. Dennis is also an accomplished driver, winning multiple Australian, Victorian & New South Wales state championships driving in the Grand Prix Midget Class.
Both Barry & Dennis are life members of the Goulburn Valley Auto Club as well as inductees in the Hall of Fame. Barry was the first member awarded ‘Legend’ status in the Hall Of Fame 2006, while Dennis was elevated to ‘Legend’ in 2016. Dennis is also a life member of the Victorian Grand Prix Midget Club, based in Geelong. Older brother Shane is a highly accomplished golfer, regularly playing on the lush fairways of the Shepparton Golf Club, including a much sought after hole-in-one!
